Two Steps From Hell – Victory (Piano Version)
Piano Version by Patrik Pietschmann

Since my “Heart of Courage” piano version some of you probably know that I am also a fan of Two Steps From Hell, a trailer music company founded by the composers Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix. And I think there are a lot of fans among you too. So it was only a matter of time to make the next video. “Victory” is also one of the most popular tracks from Two Steps From Hell. I hope you like it!

Any suggestions for future arrangements? Please leave them in the comments.

5 Music Stages - What Every Gospel Pianist Needs to Know

What theory do gospel musicians need to know? This video discusses the Stages of Growth that will take the beginning musician just starting on the piano all the way to playing at an advanced level.

Some folks wonder why they feel like something is missing, why they have gaps in their development. Just because you can play gospel licks and common chords does not mean that you are a solid player. This video discusses all the music stages and levels in between from beginner to advance

Russians have a long history in Alaska, with some Siberian migrant groups dating back as far as the early 1700s. The first European settlement in Alaska was in Kodiak in 1784 during the Russian fur trade. Eventually, #Russia officially sold #Alaska to the United States in 1867 but many Russians stayed and continued to grow. One notable member of the Russian Orthodox community in Anchorage is professional pianist, Margarita Merkusheva. Since moving to Alaska from Vladivostok 20 years ago, she’s continued to advance her musical career by writing custom music for the Alaska Dance Theatre and giving #piano lessons to dozens of families in the Russian community.

Here is an comprehensive guide on how to film the keyboard with an overhead angle. I go over the details of my setup, and also try to recreate the look using lower budget options. None of the products are sponsored, nor do I recommend them specifically — there are many products similar to the ones I use that get the job done. The most important factors are having a wide angle camera lens and a tripod.

Here’s a link to the products I show in the video:
